THE CITY OF ■ <br />1 1% <br />-min wd "" I CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br />PLEASANTON. <br />September 1, 2020 <br />Engineering <br />TITLE: ACCEPT PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS PERFORMED BY GOODLAND <br />LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR THE CONCESSION STAND <br />NO. 2 AT KEN MERCER SPORTS PARK PROJECT, CIP NO. 17747 <br />gil1►r . -,'1 <br />This project replaced the Concession Stand No. 2 at the City of Pleasanton's Ken <br />Mercer Sports Park with a new prefabricated masonry building. Concrete sidewalks <br />surrounding the building were also replaced, wet utilities were relocated, and the PG&E <br />electrical service was upgraded. Construction of this project is now complete and ready <br />for acceptance. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />1. Accept the project as complete and authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of <br />Completion. <br />2. Authorize release of the retention in the amount of $22,260.85 to Goodland <br />Landscape Construction, Inc. 30 days after the recordation of Notice of Completion. <br />3. Authorize the transfer of the project balance $54,889 to General Fund — <br />Capital Improvement Program Reserve (CIPR). <br />FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br />Funding for this project totaled $510,000 as outlined in Attachment 1. Expenditures <br />totaled $453,873, leaving a balance of $56,127. Staff recommends leaving $1,238 for <br />an anticipated expenditure with the Alameda County Department of Environmental <br />Health (DEH) and ask that the remaining balance be transferred to the General Fund — <br />Capital Improvement Program Reserve (CIPR). <br />
