6. The COUNTY shall provide the necessary forms and guidelines necessary to receive <br /> reimbursement for expenses. <br /> 7. The COUNTY shall identify to CITY to whom necessary documents should be submitted to <br /> receive reimbursement. <br /> 8. The COUNTY shall furnish to the CITY regular situation updates on the status of <br /> emergency response services required and closely coordinate with the CITY when <br /> reduction or elimination services provided under this MOU are appropriate. <br /> 9. The COUNTY shall allow CITY to retain its own identity and follow its own internal <br /> management principles, processes, and procedures during disaster operations. <br /> CITY's Duties, Expectations, and Responsibilities <br /> 1. The CITY shall only provide testing services as outlined in this MOU. If the CITY wished to <br /> provide additional goods or services beyond the scope of this MOU, the CITY must first <br /> obtain specific written authorization from the CITY before providing such goods and/or <br /> services to disaster survivors. <br /> 2. The CITY shall furnish overall management for all operations and personnel working under <br /> this MOU. <br /> 3. The CITY will coordinate with the COUNTY during the demobilization period, as its <br /> operations are reduced or shut down entirely to ensure that testing services will continue <br /> to be provided when the need exists. <br /> Description of Services Provided <br /> COUNTY and CITY will provide services in accordance with the Alameda County & City COVID-19 <br /> Testing Partnership Framework to coordinate resources and provide technical assistance to <br /> increase equitable access to testing and lab processing services for residents most impacted by <br /> COVID-19. <br /> Additional goods or services subsequently furnished by the CITY will require a written <br /> addendum to this MOU, if such goods or services expand the Scope of Work defined in this <br /> MOU. <br /> Location(s) of Services Provided <br /> Alameda County Fairgrounds <br /> Gate 12 off of Valley Avenue <br /> Pleasanton, CA 94566 <br /> Scope of Services Provided <br /> The CITY will operate facilities to provide testing for first responders, health care workers, <br /> persons with recent suspected exposures to the novel coronavirus and other county residents <br /> with the goals to alleviate pressure off hospital emergency rooms, provide quicker answers for <br /> recently exposed first responders and health care workers, and to enhance the region's <br /> capacity to suppress new transmissions through isolation after testing. <br /> 3 of 13 <br />
