In 2019, PG&E replaced several direct-buried electrical lines on several streets within <br /> the Sutter Gate area to address reoccurring electrical outages. The City delayed <br /> scheduled slurry seal work in the area to allow for completion of the PG&E work. PG&E <br /> reimbursed the City $90,000 to slurry seal the streets disturbed by PG&E and not <br /> already scheduled for slurry seal placement. <br /> A task authorization in the amount of$16,315 will be issued to the City's on-call <br /> consultant, Geocon, Inc., for material testing and inspection of the slurry seal materials <br /> as part of the City's Quality Assurance Program. <br /> Schedule <br /> The start of construction will begin in August after completion of the preparatory base <br /> repair and crack sealing work that is part of the upcoming Annual Street Pavement <br /> Resurfacing CIP.
