SUNOL BOULEVARD/I-680 IMPROVEMENTS <br /> PAdrED <br /> ASSUMPTIONS <br /> The estimate of labor hours and time scheduled to perform the work is limited by the <br /> following assumptions and as may be noted elsewhere. <br /> Study Alternatives <br /> • The introduction of new study alternatives after environmental technical studies are <br /> complete is not included in the scope of services. <br /> • One Build and a No Build Alterative will be evaluated. <br /> Project Limits <br /> • The project limits will be based on the limits shown on the PSR- PDS. <br /> Right of entry <br /> • Encroachment permit applications to perform design activities within Caltrans,County <br /> and CITY right of way will be prepared by CONSULTANT for CITY's signature. <br /> Mapping <br /> • CONSULTANT has base mapping for the project area within the State Right of Way <br /> and proposes to use the existing mapping for the PA&ED phase of work. . Mapping <br /> will be in English units and provided in MicroStation format. <br /> Survey <br /> • All surveys will conform to the current CALTRANS Surveys Manual.Datum's will be <br /> 1983 NAD(Horizontal) and 1988 NAD(Vertical). <br /> • Caltrans will provide existing survey control. Monuments in the Route 680 right of <br /> way are assumed to be in Caltrans current coordinate system and not require a separate <br /> GPS survey to tie them into adjacent state facilities. <br /> • Survey work will be performed during daylight hours,based on an eight hour workday. <br /> Non-Standard Design Exceptions <br /> • One (1) mandatory and one (1) advisory Fact Sheet will be prepared for design <br /> exceptions associated with the Build Alternative. <br /> Traffic Studies <br /> • Traffic forecasts will be for year-2045 <br /> • Accident data for the three years prior to the commencement of this study will be used. <br /> Value Engineering <br /> • Value Engineering is not included in this scope of work. <br /> April 10,2020 29 <br />
