Mayor Thorne expressed his appreciation to City staff as well as first responders. <br /> Councilmember Pentin expressed his appreciation to City staff and first responders. <br /> Vice Mayor Narum expressed her appreciation to City staff, noting building inspectors and <br /> operations services staff for continuing essential services, and to residents for cooperating with <br /> the social distance order and staying at home. She added the landing page on the City website is <br /> excellent and informative and social media is being used effectively by the City. <br /> Councilmember Pentin expressed his appreciation to IT staff. <br /> MOTION: It was m/s by Testa/Brown to adopt and waive full reading of Resolution No. 20-1140 <br /> delegating authority to the City Manager or his designee to award contracts and to execute <br /> agreements on behalf of the City during the existence of a local emergency with additional <br /> language of `until April 17 unless extended by the City Council.'
