BACKGROUND <br /> The Operations Services Department manages the Operator Agreement between the <br /> City and Pleasanton Golf, LLC. (CourseCo, Inc) for the operation and maintenance of <br /> City's Callippe Preserve Golf Course (Callippe). The current Agreement is set to expire <br /> on June 30, 2020. For the past six months, staff from the City Manager's Office, <br /> Finance Department, City Attorney's Office, and Operations Services Department has <br /> been meeting and conferring with CourseCo to discuss a longer-term operator <br /> agreement for Callippe. Staff anticipated presenting an annual update and <br /> recommendation to extend the Agreement with CourseCo to the Parks and Recreation <br /> Commission in April, the Council Audit Committee to review the Agreement terms and <br /> cost in May and presentation and recommendation to the City Council in June. <br /> Unfortunately, due to the Alameda County Shelter in Place Order, these planned <br /> meetings were not able to take place. <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> Due to the disruption of the Alameda County Shelter in Place Order, staff is requesting <br /> a six-month contract extension with CourseCo to continue the operation and <br /> maintenance of Callippe Preserve Golf Course.
