THE CITY OF 28
— n 3
'° CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT
pL£ASANTON.
June 2, 2020
Operations Services
TITLE: APPROVE A SIX-MONTH CONTRACT EXTENSION WITH PLEASANTON
GOLF, LLC. (COURSECO, INC.) FOR THE OPERATION OF CALLIPPE
PRESERVE GOLF COURSE
SUMMARY
The five-year Operator Agreement with Pleasanton Golf, LLC (CourseCo Inc.) is
scheduled to end on June 30, 2020. Prior to the March Alameda County Shelter in
Place, staff was negotiating a contract extension with CourseCo and planned on making
a presentation to the Parks and Recreation Commission, meeting with the Council Audit
Committee, and presenting to City Council. With the disruption of COVID-19, these
meetings have not been able to place. Therefore, staff is requesting that the Council
approve a six-month contract extension with CourseCo to continue operation of Callippe
Preserve Golf Course, allowing time for the aforementioned meetings to occur.
RECOMMENDATION
Authorize the City Manager to amend the contract with Pleasanton Golf, LLC
(CourseCo Inc.) and extend the contract for six additional months from July 1, 2020 to
December 31, 2020.
FINANCIAL STATEMENT
The six-month extension of the Agreement will retain the same management fee
compensation structure of a combined fixed/incentive fee, which is anticipated to be
$58,111.
