Prior to <br /> Founder/CEO February, we had been restricting the number of meals per week by each <br /> Advent Properties, Inc. senior's priority level (A, B, C) due to funding levels. We then received <br /> additional meal funding from the State via the Alameda County Area <br /> Secretary Agency on Aging which must be spent by June 30, 2020. This funding has <br /> Roland Freiberg allowed us to meet current demand as well as provide a 5-meal shelf <br /> U.S. Postal Service - Retired stable meal for each homebound recipient. <br /> Marion A.Sanchez As of July 1, 2020, we will have less meals available for regular home- <br /> Entrepreneur delivered seniors and some additional funding for our COVID19 seniors <br /> who we have brought on that are eligible only because of the COVID-19 <br /> Malia Vella emergency. For the 15-month period of July 1, 2020-Sept. 30, 2021,the <br /> Attorney projected need is 1,838 meals per month. With a gap of 2,538 meals <br /> International Brotherhood of total, at a cost of$10 per meal equals $25,380. <br /> Teamsters <br /> In addition, we have discovered a need for an additional vulnerable <br /> Executive Director population that we are not currently serving-disabled individuals under <br /> Lara M. Calvert the age of 60. These disabled individuals share the same issues as their <br /> older neighbors-a lack of support,the inability to prepare food and <br /> difficulty accessing stores or community resources to obtain groceries. <br /> 2621 Barrington Court Under the COVID19 emergency funding, we would like to be able to expand <br /> Hayward, CA 94545-1100 our Meals on Wheels services to these individuals. While some others are doing bulk meal drop-offs, we are <br /> committed to keep knocking on doors 5 days a week to provide the most <br /> important task-a daily safety check for our vulnerable recipients.
