Sidetrack Bar & Grill is also permitted to have live music until late hours, a
limited number of days within the year.
In response to a follow-up question from Commissioner Allen, Ms. Denis confirmed there are
no other examples of downtown establishments who are permitted to have music and who
operate until midnight, seven days a week. There may be others, e.g. Sunshine Saloon,
outside the Downtown.
Responding to Commissioner Brown, Mr. Luchini confirmed that the applicant is not requesting
approval of outdoor dining at this time; but staff approval would be needed to add this
component, versus Planning Commission modification of the CUP.
Commissioner Allen asked and confirmed that staff did not have any concerns within the
proposed CUP and request regarding music and late night operations, and confirmed if any
Planning Commission Minutes Page 2 of 4 February 12, 2020
istent with the surrounding area.
Planning Commission Minutes Page 7 of 13 January 22, 2020
