MEETING MINUTES <br /> City Council Chamber <br /> 200 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, CA 94566 <br /> APPROVED <br /> Wednesday, February 12, 2020 <br /> CALL TO ORDER, PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE, AND ROLL CALL <br /> The Planning Commission Meeting of February 12, 2020 was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by <br /> Vice Chair Brown. <br /> The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Commissioner Allen <br /> Staff Members Present: Ellen Clark, Director of Community Development; Melinda Denis, <br /> Planning and Permit Center Manager; Julie Harryman, Assistant <br /> City Attorney; Eric Luchini, Associate Planner; Amy Statham, <br /> Recording Secretary <br /> Commissioners Present: Commissioners Nancy Allen, Jack Balch, Justin Brown, Greg <br /> O'Connor <br /> Commissioners Absent: Chair Herb Ritter, Commissioner Brandon Pace <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Item 1 (January 15, 2020 Meeting Minutes) was pulled from the Consent Calendar. <br /> In making the request for the item to be pulled, Commissioner Balch noted a concern that <br /> certain details of the Planning Commission's discussion regarding a tobacco retail license <br /> (TRL) program had not been fully reflected in the minutes, and, since this was an important <br /> component to the overall topic, suggested additional language may need to be added to <br /> provide further clarification and detail, as well as to clarify the motion that had been made, <br /> which he did not feel was accurately presented. Commissioners Allen and Brown concurred <br /> with Commissioner Balch, stating the importance of the minutes providing a clear <br /> representation of the discussion and the motion, especially for those who were not in <br /> attendance at the meeting. <br /> There was unanimous agreement among the Commission to request staff re-listen to the <br /> recording and amend the minutes to provide additional detail from the Planning Commission's <br /> discussion with respect to the TRL program and other items as needed, and to clarify the <br /> motion; and to continue the item to the next meeting. <br /> Planning Commission Minutes Page 1 of 4 February 12, 2020 <br />osed an amenity of$100,000 per extra home to be used by for <br /> bicycle and trail improvements to connect to the Sycamore area over time. <br /> Planning Commission Minutes Page 12 of 13 January 22, 2020 <br /> approximate square footage of the visual demonstrated <br /> during the presentation. <br /> Planning Commission Minutes Page 11 of 13 January 22, 2020 <br />property and referenced the size of the lots and homes <br /> near the proposed project.
