Resolution No. PC-2003-29 <br />Page 11 <br />developer's geotechnical consultant shall review and approve all geotechnical aspects <br />of the final development plans to ensure that the recommendations have been <br />properly incorporated into the development. The consultant shall certify by writing <br />on the plans or as otherwise acceptable to the City Engineer and Chief Building <br />Official that the final development plan is in conformance with the geotechnical <br />report approved with the project. <br />39. The haul route for all materials to and from this development shall be approved by the <br />City Engineer prior to the issuance of an encroachment permit. <br />40. Storm drainage swales, gutters, inlets, outfalls, and channels not within the area of a <br />dedicated public street or public service easement approved by the City Engineer <br />shall be privately maintained by the property owners or through an association <br />approved by the City. <br />41. The applicant shall grant an easement to the City over those parcels needed for public <br />service easements (P.S.E.) and which are approved by the City Engineer or other <br />easements that may be designated by the City Engineer. <br />42. Any existing wells shall be removed or sealed, filled and abandoned pursuant to <br />Alameda County Ord. 73-68, prior to the start of grading operations unless Zone 7 <br />retains specific wells for observation wells, or special approval is obtained from the <br />City Engineer for temporary use of an existing well for construction water or for <br />irrigation purposes. Any wells designated for abandonment or any wells, encountered <br />during construction, are to be destroyed in accordance with a permit obtained from <br />Zone 7. <br />43. All existing septic tanks or holding tanks shall be removed or sealed, filled, and <br />abandoned, pursuant to the requirements of the Alameda County Department of <br />Health Services. <br />44. Electric power distribution, gas distribution, communication service, cable television, <br />and any required alarm systems shall be installed underground in a joint utility trench <br />unless otherwise specifically approved by the City Engineer. <br />45. Any damage to existing street improvements during construction on the subject <br />property shall be repaired to the satisfaction of the City Engineer at full expense to <br />the developer. This shall include slurry seal, overlay, or street reconstruction if <br />deemed warranted by the City Engineer. <br />46. The applicant's contractor(s) shall obtain an encroachment permit from the City <br />Engineer prior to moving any construction equipment onto the site. <br />47. The applicant shall comply with the City's non-point storm drain run-off ordinance. <br />
