Committee <br /> members present and introduced were Christina Nystrom Mantha, Councilmember Julie Testa, <br /> Ellen Pensky McGraw, Steve Van Dorn, Sylvia Tian, Kristen Hayes Kuse, Harsh Gohil, <br /> Shareef Mandavi, PUSD Trustee Jamie Yee, Chiman Lee, Michael Li, Olivia Sanwong, Tiffany <br /> Cadrette, Steve Baker, Will Doerlich and Kristin LaPorte. Committee members not in <br /> attendance were Jeffrey Chen, Barbara Steinfeld and Steve Berberich. City staff present were <br /> Assistant City Attorney Larissa Seto, Recreation Manager Jay Ingram, Recreation Supervisor <br /> Nicole Thomas, Economic Development Office Assistant Nicole Rodriguez, Economic <br /> Development Specialist Lisa Adamos and Director of Economic Development Pamela Ott. <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> No agenda amendments were made. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> There was no public comment. <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> The November 21, 2019, meeting minutes were approved as presented on motion by Steve <br /> Baker and second by Will Doerlich by a vote of 14-0-2 with Chiman Lee and Jamie Yee <br /> abstaining. <br /> INFORMATION UPDATES <br /> Director of Economic Development Pamela Ott reviewed the Upcoming Meetings and Events <br /> listing and noted the dates for the 2020 EVC meetings. She also shared the Planning <br /> Commission's 5-0 approval of the Johnson Drive Economic Development Zone, which will be <br /> considered by the City Council in early 2020. <br /> PUBLIC HEARINGS AND OTHER MATTERS <br /> City Council Liaison Report <br /> Councilmember Julie Testa provided the following City Council updates: <br /> • Youth will now have voting rights on the City commissions that currently have a youth <br /> member. <br /> • Council adopted an ordinance that will impose fines and restrictions on future <br /> development for illegal demolition or alteration of historic buildings. <br />
