Resolution No. PC-2003-14 <br />Page 4 <br />EXHIBIT "B" <br />CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL <br />Case PCUP-78 <br />The operation of the teen dance night at Masses shall substantially conform to <br />Exhibit "A", dated "Received February 14, 2003" on file with the Planning <br />Department, except as modified by the following: <br />a. The dance patrons shall be limited to high school students from the ages of <br />14 yeazs through 18 years. This requirement does not prohibit the <br />attendance by the legal parents and/or guardians of the dance patrons. <br />Dance patrons shall not be admitted unless they have a valid, current <br />school identification in their possession. <br />b. The dances shall only take place on Sunday evenings from the hours of <br />8:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight during the summer months or during holidays <br />when regular school classes are not being held. No dance shall take place <br />on a school night. <br />c. The owners/operators of Masses shall not be allowed to hold another event <br />on the day of the teen dance. <br />d. No dance patron admitted to the dance shall be permitted to leave and <br />thereafter reenter Masses during the course of the dance. <br />e. No alcoholic beverages may be sold, consumed, or be available on or in <br />Masses. Admission to the dance shall be denied to any person showing <br />evidence of having consumed any alcoholic beverage, under the influence <br />of a controlled substance, or in the possession of an alcoholic beverage or <br />controlled substance. <br />f A minimum of two private security guards, licensed by the State of <br />California, shall be provided during the operation of the teen dance by the <br />owners/operators of Masses to supervise Masses' outdoor areas including <br />the surrounding parking areas. Masses' own staff may supervise Masses' <br />interior areas, during the dance. The final number of interior <br />security/supervisory personnel shall be approved by the Chief of Police in <br />conjunction with the dance permit. <br />g. The teen dance shall not be advertised on radio or television programs. <br />
