Detailed plans showing the facility layout, including ceiling heights, office
areas, storage plans and heights, etc. shall be submitted by the applicants to the Fire Chief
prior to installation of said systems.

40 The applicant shall post address numerals on the new building so as to be plainly visible
from all adjoining streets or driveways during both daylight and night time hours.

41 The development shall meet all requirements of the Pleasanton Fire Code (Chapter 20.24
of the Pleasanton Municipal Code).

43 The site shall be kept free of fire hazards from the start of construction to final inspection.

44 Trash enclosures which are sized to contain dumpsters with an individual capacity of 1.5
cubic yards located within five feet of combustible walls, openings, or combustible roof
eaves shall be provided with an automatic fire sprinkler system.

45 The plans submitted to the Building Department for a building permit shall indicate the
installation of a new on-site fire hydrant. The specifications of and exact location of the
new hydrant shall be subject to review and approval by the Fire Marshall.

46 The applicant shall ensure that fire protection facilities, including all surface roads, fire
hydrants, and a water supply capable of furnishing the required fire flow shall be installed
and serviceable prior to and during the time of construction. When alternate methods of
protection are as approved by the Fire Chief, this requirement may be waived or
modified. Proposed alternative methods of fire protection shall be submitted, in writing,
to the Fire Chief. Work on the alternative fire protection methods shall not start without
the approval of the Fire Chief.

47 All roads on the site are designated as fire apparatus access roads by the Fire Chief and
must be maintained in accordance with Section 10.201 of the Uniform Fire Code and be
accessible at all times from the start of construction until the project is completed. Curbs
must be painted red or "No Parking" signs provided as required by the vehicle code.
