WRA will conduct an additional two days <br /> of field site visits to document the revised Study Area. Visiting these sites will provide the on-the-ground <br /> information necessary to update the Biological Resources Assessment (BRA) and Wetland Delineation <br /> Reports (Tasks 1B and 1C below). <br /> Phase 1, Task 1B: Biological Resources Assessment Report <br /> WRA will update the existing draft BRA with information regarding the nine additional sites added to the <br /> Project. The funds will be used for the time required to conduct GIS figure updates and additional <br /> biological staff writing time. <br /> Phase 1, Task 1C: Wetland Delineation Report <br /> WRA will update the current Wetland Delineation draft report with information regarding the nine <br /> additional sites added to the Project. The funds will be used for the time required to conduct GIS figure <br /> updates and additional biological staff writing time. <br /> Phase 1, Task 2A: Preparation of Admin. Draft of IS/MND <br /> WRA has written, with input and review from the City, a draft Project Description for work at the sites <br /> included in the previously approved Study Area. Given the adjustments to the Study Area to include nine <br /> sites, minor revision to the current draft Project Description is anticipated to be required. Additional funds <br /> are requested to conduct the Project Description update for the purposes of the BRA, delineation, and <br /> Administrative Draft IS/MND. <br /> Phase 1, Task 28: Cultural Resources Assessment <br /> WRA has retained Basin Research Associates, Inc. (Basin) to prepare the cultural resources analysis. <br /> The cultural resources study has already conducted site assessments on the locations previously <br /> approved by City staff and will need to conduct an additional site assessment and report updates for the <br /> nine locations updated in the revised Study Area. <br /> PHASE 2, REGULATORY PERMITTING <br /> Phase 2, Task 1: Project Description and Quantification for Stream Maintenance Project <br /> WRA will work with the City to map and quantify the City's maintenance activities proposed for multiple <br /> streams and detention ponds. The current Project Description for the maintenance activities include <br /> weed abatement, silt and rock removal, and vegetation removal. The new work in this task will be used <br /> to quantify these Project activities to be conducted more specifically and discretely in order to request <br /> permits. The City will provide their work proposals (listed below), WRA will assemble the maintenance <br /> information from the City into a quantified Project Description. <br /> • Basic notification requirements about site locations; <br /> • Specific maintenance activities proposed in each location; <br /> • Type and amount of fill/ sediment removal in potentially jurisdictional areas; <br /> • Descriptions of how maintenance activities would be self-mitigating, and/or <br /> • Proposed compensatory mitigation. <br /> Change Order City of Pleasanton Stream and Pond Maintenance—Project#29118—October 2019 <br /> 2 <br />
