FOR THE PIONEER CEMETERY ENTRY AND <br /> WAYFINDING IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT, CIP NO. 18750 <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The Pioneer Cemetery Entry and Wayfinding Improvements project consisted of <br /> constructing wayfinding signage, an informational kiosk, decomposed granite pathways <br /> and parking areas, decorative poles with hanging flower baskets, decorative fencing, <br /> site furnishings, irrigation, planting, and other site improvements. Construction of all <br /> work is complete and ready for acceptance. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> 1. Accept the improvements for the project. <br /> 2. Authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion. <br /> 3. Authorize payment of the retention in the amount of $20,977 to Suarez & Munoz <br /> Construction, Inc. thirty days after recordation of the Notice of Completion. <br /> 4. Transfer the project balance to the Pioneer Cemetery Master Plan Implementation <br /> Reserve, CIP No. 16446. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> Funding for construction of this project totaled $517,626. The cost of construction was <br /> $419,540 which included the original construction contract award of $394,240, and two <br /> change orders totaling $25,300. Total project expenditures, including design, <br /> construction, and other miscellaneous expenses totaled $462,508, leaving a project <br /> balance of $55,118. Project funding and expenditures are outlined in Attachment 1 <br />
