DISCUSSION <br /> Workday has completed the public improvements in accordance with the project <br /> requirements as outlined within the three agreements and has requested release of the <br /> performance and payment bonds. Staff has inspected the work and determined that the <br /> work is complete and ready for acceptance by the City. It is recommended that the City <br /> Council accept the work as complete and authorize the City Clerk to release the <br /> performance and payment bonds. The maintenance bonds will remain in effect for one <br /> year to address any latent defects associated with the construction should any become <br /> apparent during the year. <br /> Finally, please note there are other offsite public improvements required of Workday as <br /> outlined in the PUD. The following projects are currently under construction: <br /> • Widening of Canyon Way from two east-bound travel lanes to three east-bound <br /> travel lanes; and <br /> • Widening of Foothill Road and addition of a left-turn pocket from Foothill Road to <br /> Canyon Way; and <br /> • Widening of Stoneridge Mall Road creating a dedicated right turn lane from <br /> southbound Stoneridge Mall Road onto westbound Stoneridge Drive. <br /> A recommendation to accept these improvements and to release the bonds will be <br /> presented to the City Council at a future meeting. <br /> Submitted by: Fiscal Review: Approve by: <br /> Stephen Kir patrick Tina Olson Nelson Fialho <br /> Director of Engineering Director of Finance City Manager <br /> Page 3 of 3 <br />
