Pleasanton Fire Station 2 Privacy Upgrade Proposal September 25, 2019 Page 2 • Analyze the existing mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems to determine potential impacts based on proposed improvements. • Develop cost estimates for the station proposed improvements. The estimates prepared at this phase will be generally square foot cost estimates for the various building components, and will include a design development contingency (to allow for potential increases as the design is refined further in the later stages of the project). Meet with Project Team to discuss budget, program and design issues. - Prepare a design narrative describing the feasibility of the design approach for each station. - Make required submissions to City for preliminary report review and comments. Make corrections and adjustments to incorporate City comments and make final presentation to City Council to present report findings. For this Phase we have included three coordination meetings at a desired location with selected City staff and stakeholders. At the conclusion of this Phase a proposal will be provided for the additional services required to provide complete construction documents for the approved improvements. ADDITIONAL SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED ON AN HOURLY BASIS The following items are not included in the Basic Services, and will be provided as additional services only after written authorization is received. Unless a subsequent fixed fee proposal is provided, the work will be done on an hourly basis per the attached Hourly Rate Schedule.
