review RFQ applications and make a recommendations for the top applicants for interview with <br />a final recommendation going to City Council. <br />c. Youth Commission working on the issue of tobacco prohibitions and E -cigarettes and <br />considering 4 or 5 Ordinances to send to City Council for consideration. These draft <br />ordinances will be considered by the Youth Commission at their next meeting and then <br />presented to the Economic Vitality Committee and the Planning Commission for their review <br />and consideration before going to City Council. <br />d. The request for allowing youth members on commissions be allowed to vote will be <br />forwarded to City Council for their consideration. <br />Commissioner Hayes commented on the decision that had been made by the Human Services <br />Commission on this matter and questioned whether the recommendation to City Council from <br />the Youth Commission would be for youth members on all commissions to be allowed to vote <br />and whether the decision of the Human Services Commission would also be presented to City <br />Council. <br />Commissioner Clare felt being able to vote on the Human Services Commission required the <br />youth member to have depth and they don't obtain this by being on the commission for only a <br />short time. <br />Mr. Ingram advised that the Youth Commission had an option to override the decision <br />recommended by the Human Services Commission and City Council may make their decision <br />based on the what this commission had recommended. Commission Clare indicated she had <br />concerns with the process. Commission Rubino-Brumm felt that City Council would take the <br />Human Services recommendation into consideration when they make their decision. <br />e.
