Presentation of a proclamation declaring October as National Bullying Prevention Month and October 23 Unity Day Councilmember Pentin presented the proclamation to Youth Commission members Trinity Chang, Nishant Jain, and Keshav Patel. Trinity Chang and Keshav Patel thanked Council for the recognition. 18. Public Comment Travis Fisher expressed his interest in seeing some of the pop-up events like the OutBreak Art Show in Livermore to take place in Pleasanton. Mike Weddle asked Council to investigate the paving of West Las Positas Boulevard between Foothill and Muirwood Drive. He expressed concern regarding the development of a 486-unit apartment building near Stoneridge Shopping Center and the bike lane on Foothill Boulevard, specifically the portion that navigates the sidewalk. Mayor Thorne asked that staff contact Mr. Weddle Aahon Agrawal requested information regarding activists working on local issues and asked that the identify of those groups be on the city website so he and others can readily participate in local issues. PUBLIC HEARINGS AND OTHER MATTERS 19. City of Pleasanton Energy Benchmarking Report — Presentation by the 2019 Go Green Initiative Interns City Manager Fialho provided a brief overview of the project. Jill Buck, President, Go Green Initiative presented a brief overview of the project process and thanked the interns for their hard work. Trinity Chang reported that 32 high school and college interns were tasked with conducting energy benchmarking in city buildings which is the practice of measuring a building's energy performance by comparing it to similar buildings.
