CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> November 5, 2019 <br /> Operations Services <br /> TITLE: APPROVE FIRST AMENDMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $341,690 WITH <br /> ACCO ENGINEERING SYSTEMS FOR HVAC MAINTENANCE AND <br /> REPAIRS FOR FY 2019/20 <br /> SUMMARY <br /> On July 16, 2019, the City Council approved a maintenance agreement with ACCO <br /> Engineering for the maintenance and emergency repairs for City facility heating, <br /> ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Due to recent equipment failures that <br /> required replacement of system equipment and the addition of the Callippe Preserve <br /> Golf Course facilities to the preventative maintenance schedule, staff is seeking to <br /> amend the agreement with ACCO Engineering Systems to increase the compensation <br /> amount by $300,000. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Authorize the City Manager to amend the maintenance agreement with ACCO <br /> Engineering Systems for FY 2019/20 in the not-to-exceed amount of $341,690. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The agreement with ACCO Engineering is funded by the Facilities operating budget <br /> (40301) and Facilities Renovation (Internal Service Fund 515) for FY 2019/20. Callippe <br /> Preserve Golf Course expenses will be invoiced by the City for HVAC services. <br />
