ATTACHMENT 1 <br /> FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT <br /> Downtown Transportation Corridor Parking Lot Improvements, CIP No. 17448 <br /> This First Amendment to Agreement("First Amendment") is entered into the 5th day of <br /> November 2019 by the City of Pleasanton("City")and HMH("Consultant"). <br /> Whereas, on February 6, 2018,the City and Consultant entered into an Agreement for <br /> Professional Services ("Agreement") (Agreement 2018453)where Consultant is providing professional <br /> engineering and design services for the Downtown Transportation Corridor Parking Lot Improvements <br /> Project, CIP No.17448, for the not-to-exceed amount of$197,000 ; and <br /> Whereas, additional services are needed from the Consultant for professional engineering and <br /> design services to update the 75%design to incorporate City Council direction for the project and <br /> develop landscape maintenance agreements; and <br /> Whereas,the parties desire to amend to the Agreement to add additional compensation for such <br /> additional services. <br /> Now,therefore, in exchange for valuable consideration,the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, <br /> the parties agree as follows: <br /> 1. Exhibit A of the Agreement is amended to add the following: Transportation Corridor—Revised <br /> 75% Design, dated October 10, 2019, as attached here in as Exhibit 1. <br /> 2. The total compensation for all services and reimbursement listed under Section 5 Compensation <br /> of the Agreement shall be increased to Two Hundred and Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars <br /> ($225,000). [Additional Design Services for 75%plan updates and landscape maintenance <br /> agreements an additional $28,000]. <br /> 3.
