I PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> LEASANTON_ MEETING MINUTES <br /> City Council Chamber <br /> 200 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, CA 94566 <br /> DRAFT <br /> Wednesday, September 11, 2019 <br /> CALL TO ORDER, PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE, AND ROLL CALL <br /> The Planning Commission Meeting of September 11, 2019 was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by <br /> Chair Allen. <br /> The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Commissioner Ritter. <br /> Staff Members Present: Natalie Amos, Associate Planner; Ellen Clark, Planning Manager; <br /> Dan Sodergren, City Attorney; Stefanie Ananthan, Recording <br /> Secretary <br /> Commissioners Present: Commissioners Jack Balch, Justin Brown, Brandon Pace (arrived at <br /> 7:18 p.m.), Herb Ritter and Chair Nancy Allen <br /> Commissioners Absent: Commissioner Greg O'Connor <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Approval of the minutes were pulled off the Consent Calendar for edits by Commissioner <br /> Brown: <br /> Page 7, second paragraph: "Commissioner Brown echoed Commissioner Ritter's comments... <br /> He stated that he had to organize a corporate event and he chose a different type of <br /> recreational event, but he had been sent a video on axe-throwing and thought though safety <br /> was not a concern, he now realizes that this incident was an outlier and appreciated hearing <br /> the applicant's explanation behind what he'd seen in the video clip. <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR - Consent Calendar items are considered routine and will be enacted by one <br /> motion unless a request for removal for discussion or explanation is received from the Planning <br /> Commission or a member of the public by submitting a speaker card for that item. <br /> 1. Approve the meeting minutes of August 14, 2019 <br /> Commissioner Brown moved to approve the Consent Calendar with amendments as <br /> noted. <br /> Commissioner Balch seconded the motion. <br /> Planning Commission Minutes Page 1 of 8 September 11, 2019 <br />
