Owens at Iron Horse Trail Transportation/Traffic Project <br />Crossing Modification <br />Owens Drive Adaptive <br />Staff presented the results of the six-month study to City Council in January 2018 and <br />Council recommended that an adaptive signal timing system be purchased to address the <br />one-two minutes per day where congestion remains. West Las Positas Transportation/Traffic Project <br />West Las Positas Traffic Calming <br />Residents along West Las Positas (between Fairlands Elementary School and Staples <br />Ranch) have called for concerns about speeding. This section of West Las Positas was <br />evaluated as part of the Traffic Calming program and was the top ranked street eligible <br />for traffic calming. An inital public meeting was held on December 5, 2018 to describe <br />the program, the data collected and next steps should the neighborhood wishes to <br />continue forward with the program. <br />• Status Under Review <br />• Next Steps/Details: A second neighorhood steering committee was held in <br />March 2019 with the focus of focusing the scope of the <br />project area.
