BACKGROUND
On June 15, 2018, the City entered into a one-year contract with Preservation Arts, with
four one-year amendments, for Public Art maintenance services for the City's 62 Public
Art pieces. The initial contract for the first year totaled $59,720 and expired on June 30,
2019.
DISCUSSION
Staff is recommending an amendment to the agreement with Preservation Arts to
extend the contract for one-additional year based upon their professionalism, quality of
work, and past experience maintaining the City's Public Art collection.
If approved, the term of the proposed amendment would begin on July 1, 2019 and
continue through June 30, 2020, with the option to continue for an additional three
years.
Based on the City's purchasing policies, the sum of the dollar amount for the life of the
contract will exceed $100,000 within year two and needs City Council approval.
Submitted by: Fiscal Review: Approved y:
*20, /(11 -
Heidi Murphy Tina Olson Nelson Fialho
Director of Library Director of Finance City Manager
and Recreation
Attachments:
1.
