Resolution No. PC-2019-13 Page Two NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton, based on the entire record of proceedings, including the oral and written staff reports and all public comment and testimony: Section 1: Recommends that the City Council approve a General Plan Amendment as shown on the attached Attachment 1, including amendments to the General Plan Land Use Map referenced in Attachment 4, amendments to the specific plan land use designations referenced in Attachment 5, and accompanying table referenced in Attachment 6, with modifications identified by the Planning Commission in the approved minutes of the June 26, 2019, meeting. Section 2: Recommends that the City Council rescind the 2002 Downtown Specific Plan and adopt a new Downtown Specific Plan as identified as Attachment 2, with modifications identified by the Planning Commission in the approved minutes of the June 26, 2019, meeting. Section 3: Recommends that the City Council approve amendments to the Downtown Design Guidelines as shown on the attached Attachment 3, with modifications identified by the Planning Commission in the approved minutes of the June 26, 2019, meeting. Section 4: Recommends that the City Council approve an amendment to the Downtown Hospitality Guidelines to revise the boundary of the Downtown Specific Plan area as shown in the specific plan. Section 5: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
