Resolution No. PC-2019-13 <br /> Page Two <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City of <br /> Pleasanton, based on the entire record of proceedings, including the oral and written staff <br /> reports and all public comment and testimony: <br /> Section 1: Recommends that the City Council approve a General Plan Amendment as shown <br /> on the attached Attachment 1, including amendments to the General Plan Land Use Map <br /> referenced in Attachment 4, amendments to the specific plan land use designations referenced <br /> in Attachment 5, and accompanying table referenced in Attachment 6, with modifications <br /> identified by the Planning Commission in the approved minutes of the June 26, 2019, meeting. <br /> Section 2: Recommends that the City Council rescind the 2002 Downtown Specific Plan and <br /> adopt a new Downtown Specific Plan as identified as Attachment 2, with modifications <br /> identified by the Planning Commission in the approved minutes of the June 26, 2019, meeting. <br /> Section 3: Recommends that the City Council approve amendments to the Downtown Design <br /> Guidelines as shown on the attached Attachment 3, with modifications identified by the <br /> Planning Commission in the approved minutes of the June 26, 2019, meeting. <br /> Section 4: Recommends that the City Council approve an amendment to the Downtown <br /> Hospitality Guidelines to revise the boundary of the Downtown Specific Plan area as shown in <br /> the specific plan. <br /> Section 5: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of <br /> Pleasanton at a regular meeting held on June 26, 2019, by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Commissioners Allen, Brown, and Ritter <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: Commissioners Balch, O'Connor, and Pace <br /> Abstain: None <br /> A ST: j, <br /> Ellen Clark Nan y Ilex <br /> Secretary, Planning Commission Chair y� <br /> APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> `Julie Harryman <br /> Assistant City Attorney <br />nning Commission finds that the Downtown Specific Plan and the <br /> proposed amendments to the General Plan, the Downtown Design Guidelines, and the <br /> Downtown Hospitality Guidelines are consistent with the Goals and Policies of the Pleasanton <br /> General Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, The Planning Commission determines that this is the second of the four <br /> times in 2019 that the Land Use Element of the General Plan may be amended as provided in <br /> Government Code Section 65358. <br />
