In addition, the fire -sprinkler system shall be designed and sprinklers shall be <br />installed in the following locations: <br />1. Attic shall be provided with intermediate temperature -rated residential fire sprinklers for <br />detection coverage, and located at a spacing equivalent to 30 feet by 30 feet centers and <br />a maximum distance of 15 feet from outside walls. <br />2. Fire sprinklers shall be provided in garages. Fire sprinklers shall be intermediate rated, <br />quick response type, with a maximum coverage area of 130 square feet per sprinkler. <br />R313.2 Large One- and Two -Family Dwelling Residential Sprinkler Systems.
