THE CITY OF SPECIAL DROUGHT <br />����� <br />,� � CONDITIONS <br />■w � —.. w: m .�. 1 � � � <br />L��S�4NTON© <br />CONDITIONS <br />When the State of California or the City of Pleasanton has declared a State of <br />Emergency, water usage will be reduced to a minimum level for all cleaning activities. <br />The Operations Superintendent or designee will provide a written notice of special <br />drought conditions. <br />PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES <br />• Power washing <br />• Carpet extraction <br />• Washing of any hard surface with water <br />• Using a hose or any other water dispensing device without a valve inline to stop <br />flow when not in use <br />• All cleaning and sanitizing activities will be reviewed by the City Representative <br />to ensure compliance with the City Councils Water Conservation Standards. <br />• Unnecessary flushing of toilets and urinals beyond what is required to clean <br />and sanitize <br />CHANGES TO SERVICE LEVEL <br />Because of the State of Emergency that exists in the City of Pleasanton, it may be <br />necessary to reduce or stop service to certain facilities due to lack of natural resources. <br />If this becomes necessary, a written notice will be issued with instructions. Changes <br />in the fee structure will be negotiated prior to the change to the service level. <br />Page � 58 <br />
