THE CITY OF <br />� � —.. m : m ��. <br />L� �S�NTQNo <br />WINDOW WASHING <br />SPECIFICATION <br />SCOPE <br />The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, equipment, supplies and materials and other <br />accessories, for the cleaning of interior and exterior glass surfaces on all City Facilities. The <br />services to be performed shall include, but not be limited to, cleaning of all fixed and operable <br />windows, block, glass doors and reflective glass surfaces. <br />Please Note: The Firehouse Arts Center windows will be cleaned quarterly (4 times a year). <br />DESCRIPTION OF WORK <br />• Clean all surfaces using a cleaning brush and squeegee to obtain a uniformly bright <br />surface free of drips, streaks and foreign material. <br />• All moisture, on the sills and frames, shall be removed with a clean cloth. <br />• All gum, paint and adhered soil that are not water-soluble must be removed by use of an <br />appropriate cleaning agent. <br />• Any adhered "hydrophobic" type solid that cannot be scraped off should be removed with <br />the use of an appropriate cleaning agent. <br />• Cleaning shall include the sills, steel and aluminum frames, both interior and exterior. <br />• The work shall be completed in a workmanship manner consistent with industry standards. <br />Page � 51 <br />
