Public Comment <br /> Carrie Oldes, Tri-Valley Supervisor for the Meals on Wheels program, noted the upcoming 2019 <br /> Feed the Need event and the 2nd Annual Throw-Down in the Park event. <br /> Lou Rodriguez, Mike Moran and Sharon Piekarski expressed concern regarding the recent item <br /> passed by City Council regarding the design of a parking lot on the former railroad transportation <br /> corridor between Bernal Avenue and Abbie Street and ask Council to reconsider their vote. <br /> Steve Kirkpatrick, Director of Engineering, provided a brief update and advised this item is still a <br /> work in progress; currently the trail is 11 feet from the face of the wall to the edge of the concrete <br /> path <br /> David Pastor expressed his frustration regarding the process for obtaining a permit for cutting a <br /> tree down on his property. <br /> Councilmember Brown requested staff speak with Mr. Pastor regarding his concern. <br /> Marsha Howard advised due burglarized mailboxes at Avana Pleasanton Apartments US mail <br /> delivery has ceased and residents are required to collect their mail at the post office.
