CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL AND REGULAR <br /> MEETING MINUTES <br /> July 16, 2019 <br /> SPECIAL MEETING <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Thorne called the special meeting of the City Council to order at the hour of 6:00 p.m. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Brown, Narum, Pentin, Testa, Mayor Thorne <br /> Absent: None <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT — None <br /> Public Employee Performance Evaluation pursuant to Government Code §54957 <br /> Title: City Attorney <br /> Conference with Labor Negotiators pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.6 <br /> City's designated representatives: Mayor Thorne and Councilmember Narum <br /> ADJOURNMENT — The special meeting adjourned at 6:50 p.m. <br /> REGULAR MEETING <br /> Mayor Thorne called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. <br /> Councilmember Pentin led the Pledge of Allegiance and provided opening remarks. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Brown, Narum, Pentin, Testa, Mayor Thorne <br /> Absent: None <br /> CLOSED SESSION REPORT <br /> City Attorney Sodergren advised no reportable action was taken in closed session. <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> City Manager Nelson Fialho requested that Item 10 be pulled from the agenda. Councilmember Brown <br /> requested Item 11 be pulled from the Consent Calendar and moved to the regular agenda as Item 22. <br /> City Manager <br /> 1. Approved meeting minutes of June 4 and 18, 2019 <br /> 2. Approved Mayor Thorne as the voting delegate and Councilmember Pentin as alternate for the <br /> 2019 League of California Cities Annual Conference <br /> 3. Approved and authorized the City Manager to execute agreements with Hello Housing not to <br /> exceed $54,648 and ECHO Housing not to exceed $25,000 for First Time Homebuyer Program <br /> Administration Services; and approved an appropriation of $79,648 from the Lower Income <br /> Housing Fund <br />
