f. No stockpiling/storage of construction materials, fill, etc., shall take place underneath <br /> or within 5-feet of the dripline of the existing trees. <br /> g. No equipment or temporary structures shall be placed within or beneath the dripline of <br /> the existing trees. <br /> Failure to comply with these requirements may result in a "stop work order". <br /> 118. PARKING LOT TREES: The two Crape Myrtle parking lot trees located on either end of the <br /> parking stalls to the east of the carwash building shall be changed to a larger shade tree that has <br /> a mature canopy of at least 30' height x 30' width. (Project Specific Condition) <br /> 119. TREE REMOVAL: Tree#57 per the arborist report is likely to be damaged beyond recovery due <br /> to the realignment of the driveway and shall be shown as removed and replaced. (Project <br /> Specific Condition) <br /> 120. SHRUBS AT PROPERTY LINE: The proposed privets between the sidewalk and the building <br /> shall be replaced with a more appropriate evergreen shrub, such as Pittosporum tenuifolium <br /> 'Marjorie Channon' or Photinia x fraseri. This replacement shrub species shall be shown on the <br /> plans submitted for issuance of a building permit and is subject to review and approval by the City <br /> Landscape Architect. (Project Specific Condition) <br /> OPERATIONS SERVICES DEPARTMENT — ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES/UTILITIES DIVISION — <br /> 925-931-5500 <br /> 121. BACKFLOW PREVENTION ASSEMBLIES: Backflow preventer assemblies shall be designed <br /> and installed in accordance with current City Standards 704, 705, 706; State Health and Safety <br /> Code: Title 17; and as required by the Director of Operations and Water Utilities. All backflow <br /> preventer assemblies shall be tested and certified by a City approved tester with the certification <br /> submitted to the City's contractor, Aqua Backflow. Testing will be performed at the time City <br /> water is turned on to the site. If an existing backflow preventer is on the site it shall be tested and <br /> certified by an approved tester with the certification submitted to the City's contractor, Aqua <br /> Backflow, before project water is drawn through it. An all-weather cover shall be placed over all <br /> backflow prevention assemblies 4 inch and smaller. <br /> 122. RECYCLED WATER: Recycled water should be used on site during the grading and construction <br /> period. However, under any declared stage of water shortage, recycled water must be used <br /> throughout the grading and construction period. <br /> 123. RECYCLED WATER USE REQUIREMENT: If the site is within the city's recycled water service <br /> area (recycled water distribution system is along route to the proposed application), the irrigation <br /> system must be designed in accordance with the City's Recycled Water Use Guidelines and <br /> Recycled Water Irrigation Standards, per PMC Section 14.06. Refer to PMC Section 14.20 for a <br /> list of exceptions. <br /> 124. RECYCLED WATER USE PERMIT: The applicant shall submit a Recycled Water Use Permit <br /> application and package (as outlined in the City's Recycled Water Use Guidelines available <br /> online), to the Recycled Water Program (925-931-5513). The Recycled Water Use Permit <br /> application and package shall be submitted concurrently with the building permit submittal, and <br /> shall be conditionally approved by the Recycled Water Program prior to building permit issuance. <br /> Final approval by the Recycled Water Program is required before the start of recycled water <br /> service. An arborist shall be onsite during any tree work (i.e. root <br /> pruning, trimming, setting up tree protection, etc.).
