As currently proposed, the landscaping to the rear of the homes does not include any trees, only shrubs. The project proposal also includes a new six-foot-tall redwood fence along the entire perimeter of the property with three to four-foot wrought iron fencing proposed along Stanley Boulevard and within the front 20-feet of the property. The final design of the proposed fencing along Stanley Boulevard has been conditioned to be reviewed and approved with the submittal of building permit plans. Overall, staff finds that given the proposed planting and fencing plan, including the proposed landscape screening along the east property line, is acceptable and will adequately screen the new homes from the adjacent property. The landscape plans are also included as sheets L-1 and L-2 in Exhibit B, Project Plans.
