THE CITY OF 16 <br /> , ' ' CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> PLEASANTON. <br /> August 20, 2019 <br /> Operations Services <br /> TITLE: APPROVE AGREEMENT WITH SNOW COMMERCIAL INTERIORS IN <br /> THE AMOUNT OF $600,000 FOR SPACE PLANNING AND FURNITURE <br /> INSTALLATION <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The Operations Services Department oversees the goods and services agreement for <br /> space planning and furniture installation for all City facilities. <br /> The current as-needed agreement for space planning and furniture installation expired <br /> on June 30, 2019, therefore staff conducted a competitive bidding process for a new <br /> agreement that resulted in only one (1) bid submittal from Snow Commercial Interiors. <br /> The term for the new agreement with Snow Commercial Interiors is three years with the <br /> option for two additional one-year extensions. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute a three-year goods and services <br /> agreement with Snow Commercial Interiors for space planning and furniture installation <br /> with the option for two additional one-year extensions for a total of$600,000 with a <br /> not-to-exceed amount of $200,000 per fiscal year. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> Funding for space planning and furniture installation is appropriated in the Operations <br /> Services Department's Support Services Division and Repair and Replacement Plan <br /> budgets. The total compensation for the first three years of the agreement is $600,000. <br />
