THE CITY OF <br /> amp `""" I, CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT11 <br /> pLE ASANTON <br /> August 20, 2019 <br /> Engineering <br /> TITLE: ACCEPT THE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FOR PARCEL MAP 10538 <br /> LOCATED AT 11249 DUBLIN CANYON ROAD <br /> SUMMARY <br /> PUD-115 created three lots for single-family homes and a private street on an <br /> approximately 2.93-acre site located at 11249 Dublin Canyon Road. The property is <br /> located as shown on Attachment 1. The developer, AH Development Group, LLC, has <br /> completed the private and public improvements, except for a private bioswale, and has <br /> requested release of their current surety bonds in exchange for new surety bonds to <br /> ensure the construction of the bioswale. Staff agrees that all improvements are <br /> complete, apart from the private bioswale, and agrees with the developer's request to <br /> release the current surety bonds in exchange for new surety bonds to ensure the <br /> construction of the private bioswale. All public improvements have been constructed <br /> and are ready for acceptance. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> 1. Accept the public improvements constructed with Parcel Map 10538 for normal <br /> maintenance. <br /> 2. Authorize the City Clerk to release the performance and labor and materials bonds <br /> in exchange for performance and labor and materials bonds in amounts of $36,191 <br /> each. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There will be a minimal increase to the budget for the maintenance of public <br /> improvements. Tax revenue generally covers the increased cost to provide services and <br /> maintain infrastructure. <br />
