Table 2 shows the current base rate for the 35-gallon cart at $26.87 and 96-gallon rate at $46.89. The methodology employed to establish the rates for the solid waste bin service was used to determine the cost for increased frequency for the cart service. Using the current rate relationship basis between existing bin rates will not create incentives or penalizations to any customers that may wish to use these rates. Table 2. This is handled differently because unlike solid waste, the initial cart is free. A second recycling cart (Table 3) is currently set at 75% of the 96-gallon solid waste cart rate (Table 2). It is proposed that an additional recycling cart with increased service frequency that reflects that same discount with up to five times a week service. Table 3.
