BACKGROUND <br />The Human Services Commission has identified six committees that serve Tri -Valley <br />human service needs. Currently those committees are: <br />• Program Advisory Committee <br />• Pleasanton Paratransit Task Force <br />• Ptownlife Resource Network <br />• Alameda County Advisory Commission on Aging <br />• Tri -Valley Anti -Poverty Collaborative <br />• All IN Alameda County. <br />One commissioner is assigned to each committee, and an alternate is appointed when <br />needed. The commission representative attends the meeting(s) and provides an <br />update with relevant information for the entire commission to hear and consider. <br />DISCUSSION <br />At the June meeting, the commission was informed that a future agenda item would <br />include details on each of the previously mentioned committee meetings that <br />commissioners attend as a City of Pleasanton Human Services Commissioner. In <br />addition to the current six organizations, the commission requested representation at <br />the CityServe of the Tri -Valley meetings. <br />The following information provides detail on the seven committees, providing <br />information on the current commission representative, meeting detail and purpose of the <br />meeting. <br />Senior Program Advisory Committee <br />Current commission representative: Varsha Clare <br />Meeting schedule: Quarterly, January 28, April 22, July 29 and October 28 - 2019 <br />Meeting location: Pleasanton Senior Center <br />Meeting time: 1:30 p.m. <br />Meeting pur ose: Advocate and provide input regarding services <br />Pleasanton Paratransit Task Force <br />Current commission representative: Varsha Clare <br />Meeting schedule: Quarterly, January 28, April 22, July 29 and October 28 - 2019 <br />Meeting location: Pleasanton Senior Center <br />Meeting time: 3:30 p.m. <br />Meeting purpose: Advocate and provide input regarding services <br />Ptownlife Resource Network <br />Current commission representative: Janeen Rubino Brumm <br />Meeting schedule: Third Wednesday every odd numbered month (no July meeting) <br />Meeting location: Cultural Arts Building, 4477 Black Avenue <br />Meeting time: 10 — 11:30 a.m. <br />Meeting purpose: A "One Stop Shop" for resources and services in Pleasanton <br />Page 2of3 <br />
