• Next Steps/Details: Toole Design Group has completed draft corridor design <br />options for West Las Positas. Option I uses standard <br />buffered bike lanes and Option 2 uses a 2 way cycletrack <br />along the south side of West Las Positas. The design <br />options will be posted in early June on www.wlpbike.com <br />A public meeting will be held along with other events to <br />receive public input on the project options. Foothill Road BicycleI Transportation/Traffic Project <br />Corridor Plan <br />City Council at its September 13, 2016 meeting awarded the Foothill Road Corridor Plan <br />project to Fehr and Peers. This plan will provide a preliminary design, cost estimates and <br />a recommended phasing plan for both northbound and southbound bike lanes on Foothill <br />Road. <br />• Status Completed <br />• Next Steps/Details: Staff presented the draft Foothill Road Bicycle Corridor <br />Plan to the Pedestrian Bicycle and Trails Committee in <br />March 2018. The Plan was presented to and accepted by <br />City Council in December 2018. <br />• Applicant: City of Pleasanton <br />• Staff Contact(s): Mike Tassano <br />44. Overcrossing ImprovementI Transportation/Traffic Project <br />Plan for Pedestrians and <br />Bicycles <br />City Council at its September 13, 2016 meeting awarded the Freeway Overcrossing <br />Improvement Plan project. This plan identified needed improvements and an <br />implementation strategy to improve bicycle and pedestrian facilities at the freeway <br />overcrossings. Included with project deliverables is a set of plans for each overcrossing <br />that will be used for future construction. The plans are completed and will be presented to <br />City Council in November of 2018. <br />• Status Under Review <br />• Next Steps/Details: The Overcrossing Improvement Plans were presented to <br />the City Council in December of 2018. Per City Council <br />direction, staff is conducting additional analysis to <br />determine the feasibility of the improvements.
