IN THE <br /> AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $30,000 FOR ANALYSIS OF THE <br /> MOBILITY FORWARD — TRI-VALLEY PARATRANSIT STUDY FINAL <br /> REPORT RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> SUMMARY <br /> On May 7, 2019 the City Council adopted the Mobility Forward — Tri-Valley Paratransit <br /> Study Final Report along with three (3) recommendations which are: <br /> • Transfer ADA service from Pleasanton to LAVTA <br /> • Restructure Pleasanton paratransit service as a city-based program for Older <br /> Adults <br /> • Implement a Tri-Valley Coordinated Transit Strategy for Older Adults and People <br /> with Disabilities <br /> It was agreed that a more detailed analysis and specific recommendations for <br /> operational changes and service delivery were to be brought forward to the City Council <br /> later in 2019. The consulting firm of Nelson/Nygaard Associates will assist City Staff in <br /> conducting this analysis and development of recommendations. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Approve the Professional Services Agreement with Nelson\Nygaard Consulting <br /> Associates, Inc. in the amount not to exceed of $30,000. (Attachment 1) <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The proposed Professional Services Agreement with Nelson\Nygaard Consulting <br /> Associates not to exceed $30,000 will be funded by the Measure BB reserve account <br /> 45250356. The current balance in the Measure BB Reserve account is $195,650.00. <br />
