SOUTHERN DRIVEWAY MODIFICATION: The southernmost driveway on the subject property <br /> shall be widened to a minimum 30-feet wide to allow for a greater turn radius. The widening is <br /> not required to extend down the entire road. The final width and design of the southern driveway <br /> entry shall be shown on the final improvement plans to be reviewed and approved by the City <br /> Traffic Engineer and City Fire Marshall. (PROJECT SPECIFIC CONDITION) <br /> 80. EMBARCADERO COURT INTERSECTION: Complete intersection alignment and striping plans <br /> for the Embarcadero Court and Stoneridge Mall Drive intersection shall be shown on the <br /> building permit plans and shall be subject to review and approval by the City Traffic Engineer <br /> prior to issuance of building permits. (PROJECT SPECIFIC CONDITION) <br /> 81. BICYCLE PARKING: Projects with 20 or more vehicle parking spaces shall provide minimum <br /> bicycle parking equivalent to five percent of the total number of vehicle parking spaces, with a <br /> maximum of 20 required bicycle parking spaces. Bicycle parking shall be shown on the building <br /> permit plans for review and approval by the Traffic Engineering Division prior to building permit <br /> submittal. <br /> 82. BICYCLE RACKS: All bicycle racks shall comply with the following criteria: <br /> a. Located in a visible and accessible location; <br /> b. Support the frame of the bicycle and not just one wheel; <br /> c. Allow the frame and one wheel to be locked to the rack; <br /> d. Allow the use of either a cable or U-shaped lock; <br /> e. Be securely anchored; <br /> f. Be usable by bikes with no kickstand; and <br /> g. Be usable by a wide variety of bicycle sizes and types. <br /> The number, location and type of bicycle racks shall be shown on the building permit plans and <br /> shall be subject to review and approval by the City Traffic Engineer prior to issuance of building <br /> permits. <br /> Traffic Control <br /> 83. TRAFFIC CONTROL Plan (TCP): A comprehensive traffic control plan shall be submitted to the <br /> City Traffic Engineer for review and approval. Best management practices to minimize traffic <br /> impacts shall be used during construction, including scheduling of major truck trips and <br /> deliveries. to avoid peak travel hours. The TCP shall have proper lane closure procedures such <br /> as flagger stations, signage, cones, and other warning devices implemented during <br /> construction. The TCP shall also include time of day/hours of lane closures and total number of <br /> days. (PROJECT SPECIFIC CONDITION) <br /> 84. TRUCK ROUTES: The haul route for all materials to and from the project site shall be reviewed <br /> and approved by the City Traffic Engineer prior to building permit issuance and shall include the <br /> provision to monitor the street surfaces used for the haul route so that any damage and debris <br /> attributable to the haul trucks is identified and corrected at the expense of the applicant. <br /> 85.
