A. Bicycle, Pedestrian and Trail .Committee — Commissioner Bowers advised that . <br />the committee had also reviewed the Proposal.to, Realign a Segment of the Trail Open <br />to the Public. Planned at 990 Sycamore Road and had also looked at the city's collision <br />report and thought the numbers were low based on the traffic count. <br />Commissioner Hottle commented on being hit while on his bicycle by motorists that do <br />not pay attention and asked if Chairperson Bowers bring this to the attention of the <br />Bicycle Pedestrian and Trails Committee so they could consider putting in place an <br />Awareness Program. Chairperson Bowers indicated he would bring this to the attention <br />of the committee. Commissioner Hottle.felt an Awareness Campaign was needed. <br />. B. . Community of Character — no report. <br />. C. .. City/East Bay Regional Park District Liaison Committee — no report. <br />D. Heritage Tree Review Board — no report. <br />E. ' . Public Art Selection Sub -Committee no report. <br />F. Sports Council — no report. <br />9. Other brief reports on any meetings, conferences, and/or seminars <br />attended by the Commission members. <br />None. <br />COMMISSION COMMENTS <br />Commissioner Deckert provided information about a June 15, 2019 Outdoor Treasures <br />event at the Harrington Gallery. He also. asked Ms. Murphy to. provided information <br />about the city's planned events for the 125th Anniversary. <br />Ms. Murphy advised that the city will be doing something at the City Council meeting on <br />June 18, 2019 followed by several other programs and culminating in August, however, <br />staff is still working on the plans. <br />Chairperson Bowers confirmed that August 2 will be the big day. Ms:. Murphy confirmed <br />that was correct and that staff will be asking members of the commission to participate. <br />Commissioner Hottle commented on Movies on the Fairway.at the Callippe golf course. <br />STAFF COMMENTS <br />10.
