A motion was made by. Commissioner Deckert, seconded by Commissioner Hottle,.to <br />approve the minutes of the April 11.1 2019 meeting as amended. Public Comment from the'audience regarding it members of the community <br />items not listed .on the agenda <br />Benjamin Benson, teacher at Amador Valley High School advised he -was attending the <br />meeting with several members of his AP Civics Class, including the schools <br />Valedictorian, so the students can learn, more about the process of government.. <br />Student Yetten Alwari asked about possible volunteer positions available with the City. of <br />Pleasanton as a 17 -year old. Ms. Murphy advised she would provide him.with <br />information after the meeting. <br />MATTERS BEFORE THE COMMISSION <br />4. Review and Comment on -a Proposal to Realign a Segment of the Trail Open,to <br />the Public Planned at 990 Sycamore Road. <br />Ms. Soo advised that Alaina Stewart, on behalf of her family. trust, Bringhurst LLC, is. <br />proposing a five -lot single-family residential development on the existing approximately <br />3.28 -acre site at 990 Sycamore. Road, within the North Sycamore Plan (NNSP) area.- . <br />This proposed development includes the realignment of the planned trail .on the project <br />site. <br />Ms. Soo reviewed with Commissioners a PowerPoint presentation detailing thesite and <br />trail locations and alignments. She advised that the multi -use trail shown in the NNSP <br />follows the alignment of Sycamore Creek through the project site and the applicant <br />proposes to realign this planned trail location on. the project site from its current terminus <br />at the Bridle Creek development to head south along Dale Way turning east along. the <br />;property frontage on Sycamore Road to be connected to the Alisal Trail which is <br />proposed to be constructed by another development: <br />Commissioners were provided additional information by Ms. Soo about how the Class 1 <br />Trail would connect to the existing trail at Bridle Creek and the futureAlisal Trail. She <br />also noted. that the -Bicycle Pedestrian and Trails Committee had.reviewed .the Proposal <br />-and had given unanimous. support of the proposed alignment <br />
