katoweiriHECITY OF <br /> 7 <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLEASANTOK <br /> June 4, 2019 <br /> Engineering <br /> TITLE: APPROVE AN AMENDMENT TO THE PURCHASE ORDER WITH <br /> SPECIFIED PLAY EQUIPMENT COMPANY IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,350 <br /> FOR AN ADDITIONAL 30 CUBIC YARDS OF ENGINEERED WOOD FIBER <br /> PLAYGROUND SURFACING AT HANSEN PARK <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The City of Pleasanton approved a purchase order with Specified Play Equipment <br /> Company (SPEC, a dba for YossoGroup, Inc.) on December 4, 2018, for the renovation <br /> of the Hansen Park playground. The renovation is complete and the playground opened <br /> on May 6, 2019. An additional 30 cubic yards of engineered wood fiber (the playground <br /> surface material) was required to complete the project at a cost of $1,350. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> 1. Approve an amendment to the purchase order with Specified Play Equipment <br /> Company (SPEC) in the amount of $1,350. <br /> 2. Authorize the City Manager to execute the amendment to the purchase order with <br /> SPEC for the amount of $1,350. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> Funding in the amount of $1,350 is budgeted and available from CIP No. 18745 for the <br /> purchase and installation of the engineered wood fiber playground surfacing. <br />
