Owens at Iron Horse Trail <br />Transportation/Traffic Project <br />Crossing Modification <br />Owens Drive Adaptive <br />Staff presented the results of the six-month study to City Council in January 2018 and <br />Council recommended that an <br />adaptive signal timing system be purchased to address the <br />one-two minutes per day where congestion remains. A Capital Improvement Program <br />(CIP) to install adaptive signal <br />system was added to the 2018/19 CIP. <br />• Status <br />Under Review <br />• Next Steps/Details: <br />Purchase and install an adaptive traffic signal system on <br />Owens Drive. West Las Positas Transportation/Traffic Project <br />West Las Positas Traffic Calming <br />Residents along West Las Positas (between Fairlands Elementary School and Staples <br />Ranch) have called for concerns about speeding. This section of West Las Positas was <br />evaluated as part of the Traffic Calming program and was the top ranked street eligible <br />for traffic calming. An inital public meeting was held on December 5, 2019 to describe <br />the program, the data collected and next steps should the neighborhood wishes to <br />continue forward with the program. <br />• Status Under Review <br />• Next Steps/Details: First neighborhood steering committee meeting to be held <br />in late January. <br />• Applicant: City of Pleasanton <br />• Staff Contact(s): Cedric Novenario <br />51.
