CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT v <br /> pLEASANTON. <br /> April 16, 2019 <br /> Operations Services <br /> TITLE: APPROVE AMENDMENT TO INCREASE THE "AS NEEDED" CONTRACT <br /> LIMIT WITH MORGENROTH DEVELOPMENT FOR THE RENOVATION OF <br /> CITY OWNED FACILITIES <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The Operations Services Department is responsible for the maintenance and renovation <br /> of City owned facilities. Over the years the City has entered into multiple as-needed <br /> agreements with a variety of vendors to maintain and renovate facilities. Per the 20- <br /> Year Repair and Replacement Plan, several projects have been identified to be <br /> completed this fiscal year. Staff is seeking to amend the as-needed contract with <br /> Morgenroth Development for FY 2018/19 to complete the identified work plan projects. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Authorize the City Manager to amend the agreement with Morgenroth Development by <br /> increasing the not to exceed amount from the original total of $100,000 to a new total of <br /> $200,000. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The agreement with Morgenroth Development is one of several agreements funded by <br /> the Facilities Renovation (515 Internal Service Fund) budget for FY 2018/19 for <br /> improvements to City owned buildings. To date $800,000 still remains in this budget to <br /> fund the remaining work plan projects including the Morgenroth Agreement. <br />
