CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 587 <br /> <br /> AMENDING ORDINANCES NO. 358 (SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE) and <br /> NO. 520 (ZONING ORDINANCE) IN SUCH A WAY AS TO CREATE <br /> IN PLACE OF THE SUBDIVISION COMMITTEE A STAFF REVIEW <br /> BOARD THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF WHICH WILL BE THE SAME <br /> AS THE SUBDIVISION COMMITTEE <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> I. <br /> <br /> Sections 3.01, 3.02, 5.01, 5.04, 5.07 and 5.08 of Ordinance 358, <br />~dealing with subdivisions, are hereby amended, said sections as <br /> <br /> amended to provide as follows: <br /> <br /> "3.01. Review Board <br /> There is hereby established a Review Board composed <br /> of the Planning Director, the Director of Recreation, <br /> the City Engineer, the City Attorney and such other <br /> City personnel as may be called upon from time to <br /> time by the Planning Director." <br /> <br /> "3.02. Submission of Preliminary Map <br /> Prior to the filing of a tentative map, the subdivi- <br /> der shall submit to the Planning Director twenty-five <br /> (25) copies of the plans and other information con- <br /> cerning a proposed or contemplated development. The <br /> Planning Director will then, within fourteen (14) dayS, <br /> schedule a conference of the Review Board with the <br /> subdivider on such plans and other data and the <br /> Review Board will make such general recommendations <br /> to the subdivider as shall seem proper regarding such <br /> plans or data, and shall recommend consultations by <br /> the subdivider with other public or private agencies <br /> as may be disclosed by the plans to be interested." <br /> <br /> "5.01. Minor Subdivision Defined <br /> A 'Minor Subdivision'.is a subdivision as defined <br /> herein, in which the Review Board finds that either <br /> of the following are present: <br /> <br /> 1. The transfer of property is between adjacent <br /> property owners and does not involve the creation <br /> of any new building sites; or <br /> 2. All of the following conditions are present: <br /> (a) No street opening or improvement is required <br /> in the proposed subdivision. <br /> (b) Not more than four (4) lots are contained in <br /> the proposed subdivision. <br /> (c) The proposed subdivision is situated in a <br /> locality where the design, improvement and <br /> survey data are well defined by existing <br /> development." <br /> <br /> <br />
