Commissioner Wright felt that items listed under Human Services in the report had nothing the
Human Services Commission has anything to do with and she questioned why human service
items were last in the report. Mr. Weisgerber stated the report had more of a program focus
and was designed to provide information to commissions, quarterly reports will be designed
more for the public.
Commissioner Hayes suggested the report information on what commissions have been doing.
Mr. Ingram noted that the report was done to help the Library and recreation Department
provide more of a story about what they do and a more commission focused aspect can be
done in the future or it can be done through the Pleasanton Progress publication.
Mr. Weisgerber indicated that more commission highlights can be added in future reports, but
the focus of this report was on programs offered by the department.
Commissioner Hayes stated this is a great report with a lot of effort showing how the two
departments are being integrated.
COMMUNICATIONS
7. Eden I&R Inc 2-1-1 Alameda County Monthly Narrative Report: November and
December 2018.
Reviewed.
