ATTACHMENT 2 <br /> Scope of Services <br /> 1) Tri-Valley Repertory Theatre (TVRT) will produce in each fiscal year two (2) productions, ten <br /> (10) performances of each production, each in partnership with the City of Pleasanton's Civic <br /> Arts Presents Programs. <br /> 2) TVRT shall secure the rights for pre-existing scripts and adaptations of pre-existing work. <br /> 3) For the 2019/2020 Season TVRT will produce the following two (2) shows: <br /> a. Fall: (The Fantasticks) <br /> b. Spring: (Into The Woods) <br /> 4) TVRT shall provide all Artistic and Stage Director services; as such, TVRT shall cast each <br /> show, conduct rehearsals, work with designers and carry out the artistic vision for the show <br /> and the program overall. <br /> 5) TVRT shall provide one production stage manager to coordinate rehearsals, technical aspects <br /> and "call" each show. TVRT shall also provide an ASM/props person to further enhance the <br /> supervision of the production. <br /> 6) TVRT shall provide all design elements reasonably necessary including: <br /> a. Set Design - TVRT shall contract with a Set designer and builders to create a set <br /> appropriate for each production at its scene shop or other offsite location. In the rare <br /> circumstance elements must be built on-site, City of Pleasanton must be notified as <br /> soon as possible and will make every effort to provide adequate space (it is understood <br /> that assembly of scenes and touch up paint will be needed onsite for every production.) <br /> TVRT will coordinate with theater tech staff to deliver all design elements to the <br /> Firehouse Theater at previously scheduled dates and times to coincide with production <br /> schedule. <br /> b. Costume Designer or Coordinator— TVRT shall contract with a Costume designer and <br /> builder to create, rent, or "pull" all costumes appropriate for this production. TVRT will <br /> keep whatever costumes it "builds". <br /> c. Lighting Design - TVRT shall contract with a Lighting designer to create light plot, <br /> supervise light hang and focus and work with the Stage Director to create cues to <br /> enhance theatrical production. Lighting designer will use only existing lighting <br /> equipment inventory of the Firehouse Theater, unless agreed to in advance by City of <br /> Pleasanton. City of Pleasanton may elect to execute light hang and focus with City <br /> Tech Staff only OR with approved contracted staff. Firehouse to provide color gels. <br /> d. Props - TVRT shall acquire all props needed for each production, either by renting, <br /> building or purchasing each prop. TVRT will keep whatever props it "builds". <br /> e. Choreographer, Music Director, High Quality Recorded Musical Tracks —for musicals, <br /> TVRT shall also provide these additional elements. <br /> f. TVRT will provide special skills (puppetry, fight choreographer, etc) as reasonably <br /> required by specific production. <br /> g. Sound designer/operator—City of Pleasanton will provide a qualified staff person, at <br /> City's sole expense, to fill this position. City will make a concerted effort to make <br /> available the Lead Technician; however, if the Lead Technician is not available another <br />
