not take into account residential access and parking, as it specifically limits overnight
parking and long-term use.
3. St. Clare's has a cement pad that is used by Chabad and St. Clare's for their garbage
containers. In the near future St. Clare's will be using this entirely on their own to
enclose all our own garbage and recycling containers. The plan does not take into
account where Chabad plans to locate their garbage and recycling containers that will be
needed, especially when the preschool is approved. How will the garbage collection have
access to it, if there is a terrace and playground built on the only possible location for
access by city waste management vehicles?
4. Based upon the recent meeting and articles in the Pleasanton Weekly,we are concerned
about the targeting of St. Clare's existing CUP. Over the past 40 years,we have had a
positive and cooperative relationship with the City of Pleasanton. However,we are
disheartened that the current rhetoric has unintentionally put us in the"crosshairs" for
scrutiny and we feel that our CUP needs to continue unabated.
We want to make it clear that we are excited to have Chabad as neighbors. Over the past year,
we have forged a positive and lasting relationship. However,we are very disappointed how this
is affecting us, and we believe our concerns should be heard in this matter. We ask that you take
this letter and our existing agreement with Chabad into consideration before any resolution is
voted on. We look forward to hearing your concerns and answering any questions you might
have.
Sincerely,
David Wildy
Senior Warden
Tracy Brown
Junior Warden
On behalf of the St. Clare's Episcopal Church 2018 Vestry
cc: Pleasanton City Planning Commission
335o .7-fopyard Road'?
