C. Vesting Schedule for Employees Hired Before January 21, 2009 <br /> 1. Service Retirement <br /> For all employees who retire via a service retirement from the City of <br /> Pleasanton, the City shall pay four percent (4%) for each year of service of the <br /> City's contribution toward the monthly premium for employee and one <br /> dependent. <br /> For all service retirements the formula accelerates beginning with 10 years of <br /> service as illustrated below: <br /> Years of Service City's Contribution <br /> 10 75% <br /> 15 80% <br /> 20 90% <br /> 25 + years of service 100% <br /> 2. Disability Retirement <br /> For all employees who retire via a disability retirement, the City shall pay a <br /> percentage of the City's contribution toward the monthly premium for employee <br /> and one dependent in accordance with the schedule set forth below: <br /> Years of Service City's Contribution <br /> 10 20% <br /> 11 25% <br /> 12 30% <br /> 13 35% <br /> 14 40% <br /> 15 45% <br /> 16 48% <br /> 17 51% <br /> 18 54% <br /> Page 10 of 44 <br />
